February - Crochet Hats and Scarves

Make cozy, hand made hats and scarves to stay warm in style. Similar to knitting, crochet is fast and fun. Learn basic skills as well as more advanced techniques using multiple colors. This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate crafters.

January - Freestyle Sewing: Make Your Own Pants

Learn to sew clothing using a pattern. We will make simple pants that are comfortable and easy to wear. Choose cozy flannel for pajamas, cotton or linen for casual everyday wear. Gain sewing machine skills and become empowered to start your own hand made wardrobe! This class is suitable for all levels of makers.

The first class will meet at Piedmont Fabric to learn about fabric properties and for students to select their own fabric (bring $30 for materials)

Bring 2 yards of fabric of your choice, one yard of 1" elastic and/or one yard twill tape. Please prewash and iron your fabric prior to class.
